Militant caught

extorting notice on a private school was caught and handed over to police in Manipur's Imphal East district, police sources said today.

The militant identified as Robert Meitei was caught when he came to serve an extortion notice on the principal of St. Anthony's High School at Sangakpham area yesterday.

Local people who became suspicious caught him and turned him over to the police. PTI TP
