Villager killed by Maoists

Maoists in Jharkhand's Khunti district today, police sources said.

A group of 20 armed Maoists shot dead the villager at the weekly haat at Saika village under Murhu police station at around 3:30 pm branding him a police informer, Superintendent of Police Amarnath Mishra told reporters here.

The victim was identified as N Munda, he said.

The police officer denied that he was a police informer.
