1 killed, 34 injured in road accident

One person was killed and 34 others suffered injuries today when a passenger vehicle was hit by a truck in Orai area of the district.

Kamlesh Verma (45) died when the truck rammed into the vehicle he was travelling in, SP Rakesh Shanker said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital from where four persons with serious injuries were referred to Jhansi Medical College, he said.
