About 12 kg of heroin worth Rs 12 crore was seized from a house and the house owner was arrested from Makimnagar under Lalgola police station in Murshidabad district today.
Superintendent of Police Humayun Kabir said there was a manufacturing unit in the house of Fajlur Rehamn (45) in which every body in the family worked.
However, only Rehamn could be arrested and others fled.
The heroin manufactured there was sold across the country and in Bangladesh, Kabir said.
