12 labourers injured as tractor overturns

Twelve workers were injured today, some of them seriously, when the tractor in which they were travelling overturned at Udhagamandalam near here, police said.

The workers, hailing from Northern states, were being taken to a drinking water project site at Emarald when the mishap occurred, police said.

The injured have been admitted to the Government Hospital in Udhagamandalam.
