17-year-old girl commits suicide in Muzaffarnagar

A 17 year-old-girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan in her room over some unknown reason at Ghosipura village in Shamli district, police said today.

Seema took the extreme step yesterday, they said.

In another incident, 60-year-old Satpal allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train at Alam railway station in Shamli district yesterday, police said, adding the cause behind the incident is not yet known.
