Five persons were booked today after a clash between two communities over a land dispute in the district, police said.
Following a heated argument between two persons over a land dispute in Latka village yesterday, people from both the sides clashed with each other with sharp weapons, in which two persons were injured, a police official said.
"We have registered a case against five persons who are absconding. Security in the village has been tightened and extra police force has been deployed as a precautionary measure," Circle Officer A K S Pratap said.
