Two persons were killed and five others injured today when a tree fell on their house in Dunda area of Uttarkashi district, police said.
The mishap occurred in Koan village when a tree fell on a house killing 2 persons on the spot and leaving five others wounded, they said.
The injured were admitted to Dunda Primary Health Centre.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat has condoled the death of the victims and directed the district authorities to provide appropriate healthcare services to the injured.
