2 persons electrocuted to death in Punjab

Two persons were electrocuted to death and another was seriously injured after they came in contact with a live electric wire, police said.

The deceased were identified as Sukhjinder Singh (20) and Harjit Singh (20) while Tejpal Singh was injured and hospitalised, police said.

The incident happened yesterday at Nihal Singh Wala when the trio were fixing a volleyball pole and the live electric wire touched them, they said.
