2 persons found dead under mysterious circumstances

The body of 30-year-old Surendra Singh, who hailed from Haryana's Jhajjar district, was found hanging from a tree on Chamgadar Tapu, police said.

The body could be identified on the basis of the documents recovered from the purse found in his pocket.

Prima facie is appears to be a case of suicide, police said. However, no suicide note has been found. The relatives of the deceased said he was mentally unstable and had been missing for some time.

In a separate incident, the unidentified body of a 20-year-old woman was recovered from Alaknanda Ghat in the area, police sources said.

 

They suspect the woman was drowned.
