2 siblings drown in pit

A 10-year-old girl and her

younger brother accidentally slipped and drowned in a roadside pit in Pali area of the district.

The siblings, Nisha and Nitin (6), left home for agriculture field yesterday evening and were later found drowned in the roadside pit in their Magarpur village, Superintendent of Police Kiran S said today.

The bodies were pulled out and sent for post mortem examination, the SP said, adding that initial probe suggest that the kids accidentally drowned in the pit.
