A 25-year-old woman died after falling into a water tank accidentally in Pokaran area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Manju Devi had gone to the tank to fetch water, police said, adding, she fell into the tank following which she died.
The police were informed about the incident today by her father Rameshwar, and a post-mortem of the body was then conducted before handing it over to him.
The matter is under investigation, police added.
