As many as 26 houses were gutted and property worth crores of rupees destroyed in separate fire incidents in remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh, a delayed official report said today.
Altogether 17 houses were reduced to ashes in a major fire in Pangin town on Thursday last.
In three separate incidents in Daporijo area in Upper Subansiri district, two houses were gutted on January 8, six houses on January 2 and one house on January one, the sources said.
Property worth crores of rupees were also deatroyed in the fire incidents.
