Three accused have been arrested in a trader murder case who was shot dead by armed assailants on May 9 in Dankaur area here, police said today.
The traders community of Dankaur, who was on a sit in protesting against the incident, lifted the dharna today after the arrest of the three accused.
"Pravin, Rinku and Amit were arrested last night in the murder of Dankaur trader Man Mohan. They confessed to have killed the trader," Greater Noida Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Singh said.

Three country-made pistols and motorcycle used by them in the incident were also recovered from him, he said.
"On interrogation they revealed that on May 9 five persons on two motorcycles had come to the trader's shop. While Amit and Rahul kept the motorcycles running, other three namely Pravin, Rinku and Pawan shot at the trader. After murder they had fled on motorcycles. Pawan and Rahul are still absconding," he said.
Rahul had land dispute with Man Mohan's nephew. Rahul had fired at the disputed site few days ago and Man Mohan had intervened in support of his nephew.
After murder of the trader, Dankaur traders were on an indefinite sit in demanding arrest of the killers. Agitated villagers had set ablaze the police station in which several vehicles were damaged.
