3 kids drown

Three children today drowned

while bathing in a pond at Luni area here, police said.

The children, aged 12-13 years, drowned after they entered the pond and drifted to the deeper waters, SI Arvind Megh said.

"None of them knew swimming," he said, adding that the bodies have been fished out and handed over to their families.

The victims have been identified as Shakti, Shambhu and Bhawani Singh of Bhagtasni village.
