3 policemen suspended for 'misconduct' at Lucknow hotel

Three police constables in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow were suspended today for misbehaving with the staff at a city hotel following an argument, police said.

Their misconduct last night was caught by a camera installed at the hotel.

"Based on the video footage, which we took from the hotel, prima facie the conduct of the policemen was not appropriate," additional superintendent of police, Lucknow (East), Sarvesh Mishra, said

"Taking cognisance of the footage, the action was initiated against them," Mishra added.

It was not yet clear what started the argument.
