3 women college students injured in fight at sports event

Three women students of a reputed college in the city were injured in a fight during an inter-college sports event held at the college ground Thursday, police said.

The incident happened in the afternoon when an altercation broke out during the sports event at the St Paul's College ground in Amherst Street police station area.

Three students Rimpa Ghosh, Shampa Das and Tanurima Ghosh were injured badly when the three were engaged in a fight, they said.

They were admitted to a hospital.

Nobody was arrested in connection with the incident. police said.
