4 IPS officers transferred in West Bengal

In a reshuffle in the IPS cadre, four senior officers were today transferred in West Bengal.

Jawed Shamim, who was IGP, Enforcement Branch, has been transferred as IGP Traffic, North Bengal.

Manoj Kumar Verma, who was working as IGP Traffic in the state police, has been transferred as IGP, Darjeeling.

Commandant of the State Armed Police (7th Battalion) Shyam Singh, has been transferred as SP North Dinajpur replacing Rathod Amit Kumar Bharat, who has been posted as Commandant of the Specialised Indian Reserve Battalion (SIRB), a government notification said here.
