4-year-old boy, toddler charred to death in UP

A 4-year-old boy and his younger sister was today charred to death in their sleep when a house caught fire in Subhash Nagar area, police said here.

The deceased have been identified as Ashwini Singh and his two-and-a-half year old sister, Priyanka, they said.

The incident took place when the siblings were sleeping alone in their house and it caught fire due to a short circuit, police said.

Police said that the bodies were sent for post mortem.
