The Police today seized 47 cartons of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a vehicle and arrested two persons in this connection from Shankar Chowk within the limits of Ujiarpur police station in Bihar's Samastipur district, a police officer said.
The police intercepted a goods carrier on NH-28 and seized 802 bottles of IMFL contained in 47 cartons and arrested two occupants of the vehicle, identified as Santosh Jha and Raju Das, a trainee IPS Officer-cum-the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Santosh Kumar said.
The duo were being questioned about ownership of the liquor, he said.
