58-year-old pilgrim dies en route Vaishno Devi shrine

A 58-year-old woman died on her way to cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district today.

Mani Prabha Jain fell on the stairs en route the cave shrine and became unconscious, a police officer said.

She was shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, the officer said, adding the body is being handed over to her family after legal formalities.

As per reports, she has died of heart attack.
