A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 60-year-old neighbour in Aman Vihar area of outer Delhi, police said today.
According to police, the incident took place yesterday when the victim went to the grocery shop owned by the accused to return a shopping bag that her mother had borrowed from him a few days back.
On returning home, the girl narrated the incident to her mother who approached the police.
"The girl's mother filed an FIR against the accused at Aman Vihar Police station," a police official said, adding that a search is on for the accused who is absconding.
