Nation will remember Lt Colonel's sacrifice: Pradhan

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said the sacrifice of Lt Colonel Sankalp Kumar Shukla will be remembered by the nation.

"The sacrifice of Lt Colonel Sankalp Kumar Shukla will be remembered by the country," the Petroleum Minister told reporters here.

Pradhan accompanied the family of Shukla to receive the body at the Birsa Munda Airport here tonight.

The Lt Colonel laid down his life fighting the terrorists, who had stormed the Army camp at Uri in Kashmir yesterday.
