At least 60 people were injured today when a train overturned in the Upper Egyptian city of Beni Suef, official said.
The train, which was coming from Aswan to Cairo, was derailed and two of its compartments overturned near el-Shennaweya village in Beni Suef, medical and security sources said.
More than 40 ambulances were rushed to the place of accident. The injured were taken to the hospital, the sources added.
No deaths have been reported until now, the sources said.
