9 injured in clash in UP

At least nine people, including a woman, were injured in a clash between two groups over music played by the DJ at a wedding in the district, police said today.

According to circle officer, the incident took place last night

at Chandedi village under Budhana police station.

The police said that a team was rushed to the spot after receiving information about the clash and 12 people were taken into custody.

The injured were admitted to a hospital, police said, adding that security has been tightened as a precautionary measure.
