Nine persons were killed and six others injured today when a state-run bus hit a jeep near here due to poor visibility because of dense fog, police said.
The Lucknow-bound bus dashed against the jeep in Chokaghat area under Ramnagar police station, claiming the lives of nine passengers in the jeep, they said.
Six others injured in the mishap were hospitalised, police added.
