Abhinav beats top seed Cheruku

Abhinav Sanjeev of Chennai stunned top seed Vashisht Cheruku of Karnataka 5-7 7-6(3) 6-3 to enter the semifinals of the YMCA-TTT ITF Junior tennis tournament here today.

Abhinav will take on sixth seeded Paramveer Singh Bajwa in a last four match.

While in another semifinal, seventh seed Rian Pandole will clash against fifth seeded Ishaq Eqbal.

The girls semifinals would be between top seed Zeel Desai and Lalita Devarakonda, and Shivani Amineni will take on Sathwika Sama.
