A 25-year-old man, working as an accountant with a petrol pump in West Delhi's Nangloi, was today robbed of Rs nine lakh at knife point here when he was going to deposit the money to a nearby bank.
The victim, identified as Kailash Kumar Jha (25) has been working at the petrol pump as an accountant for the last seven years.
The incident took place around 10 AM when he was going to the Bank of Baroda branch located opposite to the petrol pump to deposit the cash collected at the petrol pump.

As he was walking toward the bank, two men took away the bag from him on knife point. After robbing the man, the two robbers fled towards a flyover where another accomplice waited for them with a motorcycle. He picked them up and fled.
A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched in this connection after inspecting the crime scene by the police. Police have been unable to find any clues from the CCTV cameras installed near the crime spot.
In his statement to the police, the victim claimed that he could not note down the number of the motorcycle.
