Adani Power shareholders approve plan to raise 7,000 cr

Adani Power on Friday said its shareholders have approved plan to raise up to Rs 7,000 crore by issuing equity shares, convertible debentures, bonds or other securities in one or more currencies in various tranches.

The proposal received 3,24,06,17,608 votes in its favour, accounting for

95.65 per cent of the total votes polled, Adani Power said in a regulatory filing.

Around 4 per cent of the votes (14,71,39,096) were received against the proposal, it added.
