An advocate was today sentenced to seven days imprisonment by the district Munsiff court at Thittakudi for reportedly sticking posters criticising Judge Kunha who convicted AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa in the disproportionate wealth case.
Judge Uthamaraja also convicted him for disfiguring the government office wall by sticking posters and sentenced him to seven days simple imprisonment but said the two sentences would run concurrently.
Advocate Thangakolinjinathan had stuck the posters on the walls of Thittakudi district munsiff court complex. Police registered a case on a complaint.
The advocate was later arrested and lodged at the central prison here.
