Flush with the success of 'Aschworjo Prodip', having wooed audiences as a modern fantasy tale, actor Mumtaz Sorcar now looks forward to the two upcoming flicks The Play and Shesh Anker Khela.
"While supermodel-actor Malamal in 'Aschorwjo Prodip' was a more esoteric character - part real and part imaginary dwelling on the edge of a middle-class, male fan's self - I play a cop who is investigating the murder of a young couple in the environs of Mirik in Shesh Anker Khela and member of an English theatre group in The Play," Mumtaj told PTI here.
"This turns out to be an exciting phases of my career with different types of movies happening one after another. My job is to recreate magic with my acting in front of the camera and I am happy with the present turnaround in Bengali film industry which almost coincided with my arrival on the scene," Mumtaj said.
