Alert sounded in Uttarakhand

Keeping in view Raksha Bandhan festival, police was deployed at all vantage and vulnerable points to maintain normalcy in the state.

High alert is also being maintained at railway stations.

Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna has issued necessary directions to maintain high security in the state, officials said.
