Andhra Bank constructing toilets in rural schools

Andhra Bank general manager Krishna Prasad today said the bank was constructing toilets in the schools in rural areas under the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.
The bank had already identified a Zilla Parishad high school in Krishna district, and some more high schools would be identified very soon, he added.
The bank was also thinking of adopting a village in the district, he said.
Prasad said the bank has opened about 15 lakh accounts under the Jan Dhan scheme.
