Former 'Better Off Ted' star Andrea Anders is joining the cast of 'Modern Family'.
The 39-year-old actress will play one of the Dunphy family's obnoxious new neighbours, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Her on-screen husband will be fellow new 'Modern Family' cast addition Steve Zahn.
Anders previously portrayed Linda Zwordling in 'Better Off Ted', and also has had regular roles in 'Necessary Roughness' and 'Mr Sunshine'.
ABC recently reached a new deal with 'Modern Family' creator Christopher Lloyd, in spite of initial fears that he could leave the programme.
The series triumphed at the Primetime Emmy Awards earlier in the week, earning the coveted Outstanding Comedy Series prize.
'Modern Family' returns on September 24 on ABC.
