The Andhra Pradesh police probing alleged irregularities in the Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test conducted by the Vijayawada-based Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, arrested 11 more accused today, including seven brokers and four candidates.

With this, the CID has so far arrested a total of 20 people, including nine brokers and 11 students involved in the "scam", as investigations into "irregularities" in the entrance test had established leakage of question papers.

The CID probe revealed that the question paper was leaked from Manipal Printing Technologies Ltd in Manipal. The case is under investigation and the main accused are likely to be arrested soon, CID officials said .

The probe has established a linkage between candidates, brokers and the main culprits, they said.

On specific information, other brokers like Bhushan Reddy, Paulson, Kistappa, Chakravarthi, Vijay, Abhimanyu and Patrik and four candidates namely Rama Rao, Sai Praneeth, K Ramana and P Bharath Kumar were arrested and incriminating material to prove the guilt of the accused was seized, officials said.

Due to a conspiracy among brokers and one Ameer Ahmed of Davangere in Karnataka, they were able to leak the question paper of PGMET-2014.

Paulson, who is also a native of Davangere, is allegedly one of the conspirators in getting the question paper leaked. Through his other agents like Kistappa and Chakravarthi the leaked question paper was passed on to candidates like Bharath Kumar, Sai Praneeth and K Ramana who got ranks 7, 15, and 26 respectively.
