AP to celebrate 153rd birth anniversary of social reformer

Andhra Pradesh plans to celebrate the 153rd birth anniversary of social reformer and writer Gurajada Apparao tomorrow, it was officially announced here today.

AP's Minister for Rural Development Kimidi Mrinalini is set to inaugurate the celebrations at Ananda Gajapathi auditorium and rich tributes will be paid to Mahakavi Gurajada near M R College, Additional Joint Collector UCG Nageswara Rao told reporters today.

The AP government has directed the administration to celebrate Gurajada Apparao's Jayanti as a state event, he said.
