APCC condemns Rijiju's statement on Nehru in Sino-India war

Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today condemned the statement of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, accusing Jawaharlal Nehru for letting the people of Northeast region down during the 1962 India-China war.
In a statement here today, APCC president Padi Richo said Rijiju had no right to criticise the legacy of Nehru because due to Panchsheel proposed by Nehru, Arunachal was saved from external and internal aggression till today.
"Rijiju's false propaganda on the Nehru legacy is nothing but to appease the Modi-led government at the Centre so that he will not be dismissed from the ministry," he said.
