Apollo Hospitals fined for letting effluents onto the road

: Apollo Hospitals here was fined Rs 2 lakh by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Wednesday for allegedly letting out effluent onto the road thereby causing damage to it.

Commissioner of the civic body M Dana Kishore, who inspected some areas, identified the problem caused by the private hospital and imposed the fine, said a press release from the Municipal Corporation.

The letting out of the waste on to the road was causing inconvenience to the public and ambulance service, the release said.
