Armed men loot bus conductor of cash bag, ticket machine

A conductor of a roadways bus plying on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway was allegedly robbed of his cash bag and ticket vending machine by two unknown armed men in Shamli district.

Two armed men looted cash worth Rs 10,000 and the ticket machine from conductor Krishnapal near Jasala village under Kandhla police station yesterday, Kandhla SHO, Naresh Yadav said.

"Two youth boarded the bus pretending to be passengers and looted conductor Krishanpal of his cash bag containing Rs 10,000 and the ticket machine," he said.

The incident took place when the bus was on its way to Delhi from Saharanpur.

Police rushed to the spot and started a search but no arrest has been made so far, police added.
