Army jawan injured in accidental fire in Poonch

An Army jawan was injured in an accidental fire from a rifle in the border belt of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, an official said today.

There was an accidental discharge of fire from the weapon of a soldier at a forward post along the Line of Control in the Mehdar belt yesterday, an army official said.

In the incident a jawan suffered injury, he said.
