Army organises weapon exhibition to mark I-Day

Army today organized a weapon exhibition, showcasing state-of-art military equipment here to mark the 69th Independence Day.

A large number of students and civilians participated in the exhibition "Know Your Army" at the Ambedkar Circle here.

The event was inaugurated by Lt Gen HJS Sachdev, chief of staff, South Western Command.

It witnessed participation of a large number of civilians, including school and college students, defence spokesperson Lt Col Manish Ojha said.

It was followed by a mass band display at Albert hall, Ojha added.
