An army jawan was killed and his wife and two daughters were injured in a road accident here, a police official said today.
The mishap took place late last night when the four were going to Devlali near here on a motorcycle, said the official from Devlali Camp police station.
A speeding car, which was also proceeding to Devlali, dashed agianst their two-wheeler on the Nashik-Devlali Road, he said.

The deceased was identified as Yogesh Kacharu Gawali, a resident ofShingave Bahula village in the district. The jawan was attached with the 116 infantry battalion at Devlali.
The 36-year-old was on a month-long leave and had gone to his native village, the official said.
His wife Madhuri and daughters Girija (6) and Avanti (3) were injured in the accident and admitted to a private hospital in Nashik Road, he said.
The car driver has been arrested, the official added.
