Arunachal Pradesh assembly pays tribute to Ngurang Tazap

The Arunachal Pradesh Assembly today paid tribute to former minister Ngurang Tazap, who died at a Guwahati hospital on March 18 last due to prolonged illness.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Speaker lead the House in making obituary reference in respect of Tazap during the one-day special session convened in the new assembly building here.

Tazap was born in May 8, 1959 at Rokong village under Sangoapta circle of Papum Pare district.

The chief minister while responding to a request from former chief minister Nabam Tuki, assured to name an institution in memory of the departed leader.

The House also observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to Tazap.
