A assistant sub-inspector of police was today arrested red handed accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 in Bihar's Samastipur district.
Director General of Vigilance Ravindra Kumar said acting on a tip off vigilance sleuths trapped the ASI when he was taking Rs 50,000 bribe from a person.
The vigilance department had received complaint from the about the ASI seeking bribe from him in connection with a police case, he added.
