Drug firm AstraZeneca Pharma India today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 8.67 crore for the third quarter ended December 31.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 13.40 crore for the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the company said in a filing to BSE.
Standalone total income of the company stood at Rs 144.58 crore for the quarter. It was Rs 108.20 crore for the year ago period.

In a separate filing, the firm said its board has approved the reappointment of Sanjay Murdeshwar as managing director of the company for a period of three years, to be effective from May 2.
"The board noted the resignation of Justin Ooi as director of the company, effective January 11, 2016," it added.
