AVP demands Karam festival be declared a govt holiday

A delegation of the AVP submitted a memorandum to the Jalpaiguri District Magistrate S Mohapatra demanding that Karam Festival on September 26 be declared a government holiday.

A large number of adivasis from all over the district had come to Jalpaiguri to submit the memorandum.
