Bakr-Id was celebrated with religious fervour across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana today.
Muslims offered prayers at idgahs and mosques in the morning and sacrificed goats in both states.
Large congregations were witnessed at the historic Mecca Masjid and other mosques in Hyderabad.
Huge congregations were also witnessed in towns like Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar in Telangana and Vijayawada and Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh.
Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana E S L Narasimhan, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao conveyed their greetings on the occasion of Bakr-Id.
