Bandits loot trader of cash, ornaments worth Rs 70 lakh

A group of armed men looted cash and ornaments worth Rs 70 lakh from a trader's house at Shahpur town here, police said today.

Six bandits entered the house of Haroon Qureshi last night and looted cash and ornaments. A family member sustained injuries when he tried to resist the robbery, they said.

A search is on, police said, adding that no arrest has been made so far.
