'Barbershop 3' set for February 2016 release

The third instalment of hit comedy franchise "Barbershop", starring Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer, is targeted for February 19, 2016 release.

The Warner Bros movie will arrive right after the opening of "Zoolander 2" and the weekend before "Dirty Grandpa" release date, reported Aceshowbiz.

Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer will reprise their roles as Calvin Palmer and Eddie respectively. Rapper Nicki Minaj will also take part in the film starring as Draya, "the sassy new hairdresser of the beauty shop portion of the barbershop."

Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Common, Anthony Anderson and Deon Cole will star in the movie as well.
 

Malcolm D Lee directs the movie with the script written by "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver.
