Bengal names 16-member squad for KSCA invitational tournament

Bengal today picked a 16-member squad led by Manoj Tiwary to compete in the pre-season Karnataka State Cricket Association Invitational Tournament in Bengaluru and Mysore from July 22 to August 18.

The notable omission from the squad is that of Bengal pace spearhead Ashok Dinda and according to selectors he has been rested.

The Cricket Association of Bengal also decided to send six players -- Writam Porel, Promod Chandila, Sandipan Das, Sayan Ghosh, Ayan Bhattacharya and Ananta Sinha -- to attend a camp in Karataka under VVS Laxman and TA Sekar.

Squad:

Manoj Tiwary (c), Sudip Chatterjee (v-c), Satyabrata Murmu, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prosenjit Das, Pankaj Shaw, Koushik Ghosh, Writtick Chatterjee, Ritwik Roychowdhury, Veer Pratap Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Aamir Gani, Mukesh Kumar, Amit Kuila, Ishan Porel, Agniv Pan.
